GET READY FOR 'ALBTRAUM'

We are still alive! The year is almost at the end but DevilsKiss are still busy. Instead of getting ready for the hibernation, we worked in the last couple of weeks and months on our debut album 'Albtraum'. Some guitar tracks and the vocals are still not complete but the eleven songs on that album are rising and you can already looking forward to a gothic-rock record that will blow you away!

NEW SONG

March 9th, 2007
We've finally made it... The work on the first song from our debut album
"Albtraum" is completed and the song is released on the CD compilation
of the german Gothic Magazine. This issue will also feature a
short news flash about the upcoming album and the song. Those of you who
don't want to wait for the record can also check out the song here.

DARK EASTERN

March 6th, 2007
We will appear live at the first Dark Eastern Festival in Berlin. The
festival will be a meeting point for the dark scene of Germany's capital
and it will take place at easter each year from now on. On three days
the Kulturbrauerei will see lots of music, markets and readings. We are
scheduled to play live on Friday, April 6th at 9:30 PM in the
Maschinenhaus. Also playing that night is Staubkind and Dementi
and others.

DIG AND FRE ARE LEAVING, BEN AND MICHA ARE COMING

Good evening everyone,

it has been a long time since you last heard from us on this homepage.
But appearances are deceptive: Much has happened at DevilsKiss. In June,
we parted with our drummer Fre, our Bass player Dig and our manager
Andreas. These split ups happened out of mutual consent. Fre and Dig
will now follow their own musical ideas and I wish both of them good
luck! Keep rockin' guys.
So in the last few months, we have been searching for replacement for
both of them and I am happy to present you our new members today.
In the future we will be backed by Ben, who is also playing at the
Berlin metal band "Morbid Mind", on the bass guitar, while the position
of drummer is now taken by Micha, who played with some bands from the
Dresden area so far. Both are great guys and I am sure that we will have
a lot of fun together.
So right now, we are rehearsing our live set and giving the songs for our
debut album a final face-lift. The better part of the songs is already
written since I haven't rested idle in the last months, but have
written some real killer-songs together with Jordi. So much is going to
happen. Check our homepage regularly and I hope, we will see you at our gigs...

From now on you can order tickets for the K17 'Summer Battle' wich will be on July, 26th. To order tickets click here! Just write us your complete adress + the number of tickets you want. Then send the mail and wait for a response. A special extra is waiting for the 10 first people who order!
Besides DevilsKiss will play the following bands:
Windpockz, Pass over in Silence, Thunder and Lightning, Placenta, Dethless.

REPORT FROM THE WGT 2006

June 12th, 2006
After a comfortable bus drive, speculations about the weather and how many people would come we arrived the beautiful city Leipzig and saw the first 'black coats'. ;)
When we arrived our stage, the Parkbühne, we were totally fascinated of the very cool location in the middle of a park. We 'checked in' to talk to the technic guys there and then we began to pack out the whole equipment. After an hour or something we were ready for the soundcheck so we started playing and rocked the stage with no audience for the first time by daylight on an open air stage! :)
Our show time at 3:50 PM came nearer so we went into the backstage area to tune the guitar and bass and to dress up.

A few minutes before the show it bacame a little bit wild because we had to start five minutes earlier (this can be 'years' when you're excited) but it was not the big deal so Hanzel jumped on his drums chair and started the intro. The first sounds arrived the ears so get on stage and rock!
DevilsKiss played the set very well but the as the first and pretty unknown band on such a big stage is hard but we got applause and everything. We were thankful and Ron threw some EP's at the last song into the audience. Sadly the 30 minutes we had were to short...

During the changeover we took a short break to relax because we had to give two interviews...

We'd like to thank the whole festival and stage crew for the great sound and the very good service. Also we wanna greet Fanoe, the band that played after us. Really nice people! Hopefully we can hit the stage together soon... maybe next year at the WGT again...

EMERGENZA 2006: SEMI FINALS FINISHED

Sadly we got not so much luck like in the first round: DevilsKiss played at 11:30 PM as the last band and of course most of the audience has already left the place or was just fucked up. So we were placed with 38 votes on the last place. Anyway we would like to thank everyone who made party with us and voted for us. As always you can find pictures of that evening in the gallery.

WGT 2006: NEW INFOS

March 29th, 2006
Finally we got the running order for the Parkbühne (Leipzig) on Saturday, June 3rd 2006: DevilsKiss will enter the stage at 3:50 PM that day. Cross your fingers that the weather will be hot as hell!
Other bands on that day at the Parkbühne are: Fanoe, End of Green, Illuminate, Samsas Traum and Unheilig.

EMERGENZA 2006 GOES SECOND ROUND

March 21st, 2006
The next performance is confirmed : On May 20, anywhen between 10 PM and 12 PM, DevilsKiss will rock the SO36 (Berlin). Of course the band would like to come into the local final round so it would be great when many of you'd come. If you want the tickets cheaper, for 9€, just send the manager of the band Andreas Joh. Richter an E-Mail! More infos will follow.

EMERGENZA 2006: IN THE NEXT ROUND

March 12th, 2006
Last Friday DevilsKiss played at the Emergenza band contest in Knaack Klub (Berlin) and got 62 votes. Thereby the band is in the next round and will play at SO36 in May 2006 again. Thank you to everybody who voted for us and celebrated with us!

DEVILSKISS LIVE AT THE WGT 2006

January 31st, 2006
DK will play at the 15th Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig, Germany this year.
You can see the band on Saturday, June 3rd, 2006 at the Parkbühne. Other bands and artists at the festival are Tanzwut, Corvus Corax, Nitzer Ebb, Combichrist, Deathstars, Samael, Liv Kristine, Eric Fish, Feindflug and many more. Tickets are on sale now for 56€.

By the way we'd like to announce some new gigs wich you can find in the live area.

We would like to introduce our new man on the guitar : Jordi Rubio Auguets! Born in Spain, he played before DK in a Metal- and Jazz-Funk-Band.
